Free Tesco DVD Rental for 2 months

Options
I have an account with Tesco DVD rental and they keep sending me vouchers for new customers. As I'm not new they are of no use to me so if anyone wants to take up the offer the codes are as follows:

TD47G6W and TD67G6X

Both codes can be used my multiply different people as I have 12 cards all with these codes on them! You get free membership for 2 months. The voucher says £15 so it must be the cheapest package where you can only have 1 DVD at a time.

You can cancel your membership at any time aswell!

  • This is through Lovefilm so if you have already had a free trial through Lovefilm, you won't be able to get another free trial
  • I took them up on one of their offers, and had a devil of a time getting them to cancel my subscription. It was onlt when I threatened to write to tesco head office that they refunded subs taken after I had cancelled.
    I wasn't imprressed at all.

It's worth the risk if your careful with following the rules to the letter, but I suppose you can get caught out sometimes even if you're in the right. From the T&Cs:
    Free trials

Free trials are only available to new subscribers of https://www.tescodvdrental.com. Previous subscribers or trialists (of https://www.tescodvdrental.com or any other service provided by the LOVEFiLM group of companies, including websites powered by Video Island or LOVEFiLM) do not qualify for a free trial. Only one free trial may be redeemed per household and a free trial may not be combined with any other offer. You must have internet access and a valid debit/credit card to redeem a free trial offer.

Upon registering for your free trial, your debit/credit card will be authorized for up to three months of service - to verify your identity, and to protect us from theft and fraud. Some banks or payment card companies may reflect this authorisation against your available balance or credit limit. No actual charges, however, will be made against the card if you cancel prior to the end of your free trial period.

We will begin billing you for monthly subscription fees for the Tesco DVD Rental service at the end of your free trial period unless you cancel prior to the end of your free trial. We will continue to bill you by your chosen payment method on a monthly basis for the Tesco DVD Rental service until you cancel.

You must cancel your account before the end of your free trial period to avoid charges. For instructions on how to do this, see the section on 'cancellation' below......

    Cancellation

As noted above, you may cancel your subscription to Tesco DVD Rental at anytime. Cancellation requests must be via the website https://www.tescodvdrental.com. We are unable to accept or guarantee cancellation requests via email or telephone. To cancel, click "My account" and follow the instructions under the heading "Cancel my subscription." Immediately upon requesting cancellation, no further DVDs will be dispatched to you. All DVDs must be returned before the cancellation will be confirmed. Once all DVDs have been returned, the cancellation will take effect immediately and a confirmation email will be sent to you. Failure to return DVDs will result in the account remaining active and billing will continue. We reserve the right to charge a replacement cost of up to £20 for any non returned DVDs. To avoid problems, we advise obtaining a certificate of posting when you return our DVDs to us. Please note we do not provide refunds or credits for any partial subscription periods.
Of the 3 DVD trials I've had so far from different companies, I've been unfairly charged once for the follow-on period. My mistake was not getting a Certificate of Posting when returning the last one & they claimed to have received it after the offer expired - I'd sent it 1st class one week before it did. G

The 2nd code works for 60 days' free trial on any of the 3 options (1, 2 or 3 DVDs)
