paypal charge back

Hi I was wondering if anyone can tell me how this process goes with a paypal charge back as i have never done one b4, but i have a little feeling i may have to soon.

    if your the buyer, then you have to log in to your control panel - dont worry about it, cos 99.95% you will win it :)

  • Hiya Thank you, yes im the buyer. what coontrol panel do i need to log on to ?the paypal one? If so where do i go from there?

    Hi, im not 100% as i dont use paypal alot but if you login to the account, and go to your history tab, pull up the transaction, and in there, tehre should be a button to click to dispute, if its not there, go in to your control panel in paypal and it should be there somewhere - sorry cant be much more help :)

    Log into paypal and then into resolution centre from the top tab options. From there you can either start a dispute, or start a chargeback. The dispute thingy is quite good as it gives you the chance to flag up to the seller that you have a problem, you can both communicate throught the paypal system to reach a resolution. If that does not work all you need to do is escalate it to a chargeback which notifies paypal that you want them to sort it out.

    If the chargeback is for non receipt the only way the seller can stop it is to either prove delivery or refund you.
