Spanish to English - plz help

Sorry to ask for help.

Im about thinking of getting (2nd hand) an laptop that has windows xp installed but in Spanish.

Obviously, I cant use that. Its not Windows Ultimate either (been looking up a few hints).

I have Windows 7 disc at home that I put on one of my computers, but im no computer buff.

Question is: Is this Windows 7 disc what they call an operating system? And if so, how easy would it be to convert the spanish installed to Windows 7 in English. So sorry for being so vague. just needing some help

Thanking anyone in advance for help ;)
Regards

Yes, Win 7 is the OS; the new install -- if English -- will be in English, so not a problem.;)

So what do I do to cancel off the old Spanish Version? Just put the Windows 7 disc in? Does it do it all itself?

Thank you so much for taking time to answer

is this a Windows upgrade disc? What's it say on the sleeve? Also, make sure the machine can handle the Win 7 system requirements.

    Make and model of laptop?

From whence did you get the Windows 7 disc? Have you already installed it and are using it on another computer? If you have, you will not be able to use it again, as it will not 'activate' on a second computer.

OP, I am not sure what is the problem with busenbust and Donnie.

Donnie has given me some sound advice in the past.

Is this comment meant for the other laptop thread?
