been into sainsbury's today 1/3rd off selected xmas gifts some jamie oliver cooking things and the miniture whiskey and baileys sets,also some wine in the offer worth a look offer ends on 7/11/06

saw that today, was thinking of getting the little alcohol bottles for the oldies xmas presents then thought no, prob find them somewhere else cheaper...scrooge has arrived!!!

Sainsbury's have a lot of Christmas Gift Sets on offer at the moment, so its well worth going along and buying some Christmas gifts at the moment. They have a big range too - alcoholic gift sets, food gift sets and bathroom smellies!

They do this every year at this time, but don't leave it too long because everything will go up to its normal price in a couple of weeks time.

Example: Champneys Complete Body Essentials Gift Set reduced from £20 to £13.32, Glenmorangie 2x 10cl Gift bottles reduced from £10 to £6.67 and Sainsburys Belgian Drinking Chocolate and Biscuit Gift Set reduced from £7 to £4.66. There are loads more, too many to list!

Thanks for that - the Champneys sets are a really good buy, treat yourself and put them away for the kids to give you back for xmas - much better than when they shop for you and buy Wilkinson's own brand :rotfl:

Please note when buying food or drink items that you must check the sell-bu-date. I have just been in Sainsburys to buy some gifts and noticed on one item that the sell-by-date was 31 December 2006!
