3 Cancelled 1 dispatched for me

All 3 of mine cancelled due to out of stock (which they are not). I know we were being cheeky but I would actually have re-ordered the sandals at the full (sale) price as they were a real bargain... but I won't be because Evans can't be truthful with their customers.

1 of my orders has now been despatched it's for a pair of jeans at £10.60 though which might have had an impact.
Not heard about the others though. Placed 3 orders.

Did 4 orders all with the £5 code, all have been cancelled. 3 with the out of stock (but actually not!) and 1 with the you are a security threat rubbish. Called customer services a few times, with varying results... 1 told me there was nothing she could do and that the item, even though it was in stock online was really out of stock... YEAH RIGHT! Told her I didn't believe her and was not impressed. Another told me to buy item full price then send an e-mail to customer services...but I'm on the phone to you right now, so..? Another said there had been problems and that she would re order it for me at the price with the code and free express delivery, so did that. Only... have now checked my email and it says full price and with full delivery price so back to the phone we me. ARGH! How on earth have they got away with being so RUBBISH!?

Think I'm just going to cancel and remember to NEVER let myself buy anything from them again. :mad:

I've purchased a scarf from Evans yesterday, used the free delivery code and the £5 off code so amonut to pay was £7 which came out of paypal.

Now they sent me a refund via paypal.

I sent an email asking why the order was cancelled.

They sent this email back.

Tracking queries - International including Republic of Ireland
Unfortunately we are not able to track international parcels. Although most arrive quicker, please allow up to 14 working days before querying your parcel.

Cancelling or changing your order
Unfortunately, once your order has been placed we are not able to cancel or change it.

Stock queries
Unfortunately we are unable to provide information on when more stock is arriving however, we do update our websites regularly so its always worth checking more than once. Stores can also order items for you from our main Warehouse; just follow the Store Locator links to find the telephone number of your local store.

Promotions issues
If your promotion code hasnt worked, you do not need to email us again as we will refund the discount you are entitled to within the next 3-5 working days. Only one promotion code can be used per order and we are not responsible for codes obtained from discount code websites or blogs.

I've been on the website the scarf is still available but they've pulled the plug on the codes now.
But the codes were working when i put them in and i can't find anything on the site to say only one code can be used for one purchase!

Can they do this?

I can confirm that you are able to replace your order online.
Unfortunately this order has been cancelled. Your order was cancelled as the system allowed two promotional codes to be used in error, our promotions cannot be used in conjunction with one another. This error on our site has now been fixed so you should be able to place the order again. I am sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.

It seems they are honouring orders that were for a decent amount and cancelling the bargains?
I emailed and complained as i was emailed the voucher for no minimum spend and they replied saying sorry you used 2 codes together....then offered me £5 off and free delivery!!!!!!!!!!!em the same codes that i used lmao they are useless

I also got a 2nd order I placed using the £9 off code aswell as the jeans using the £5 off code It might be because both orders were over £10 though after the discount was applied so it didn't flag up as being 2 codes used each time?
