    Yep just over an hour or so for us too. The Tunnel is great for these kind of trips as so quick. I love Lille and have been there a few times. if you have kids / grandkids they have some lovely old fashioned wooden type toy shops around the place as well. The Cmas market is busy and not hyge but set right in the centre and a lovely place to while away a few hours

    I don't have children and definetely not grandchildren, but thanks anyway :) I saw those olde fashioned shops in Bruges, and they where quite good. I can never get cheap enough tunnel fares, but than that's probably because I don't book early enough, it came out at £67 or so, which isn't bad, but the ferry gave me cheaper fares.
