Hi,
Having a few problems with our bathroom. We have a combi boiler which is 4 years old. Water from the bath is running lukewarm so I turned up the water temp control on boiler, now the water from the basin taps and kitchen sink taps is scorching hot and it has had no effect on the water from the bath taps - what could be causing this?

Is it a mixer tap?

Has it always been like that or has this only started to happen recently? Has anything else changed?0

It's a mixer tap. It started probably about 6 months ago but wasn't so much of a concern as the shower was working, but now it's not working...0

It is hard to tell without seeing but it could be a flow problem. too fast flow to the bath or too long a run could result in cooler water.0

Turn the temperature at the boiler DOWN rather than up and see what happens.
If its a mixer tap then the hot and cold are mixed in the body (unlike a kitchen tap which doesn't mix at all H&C come together at the end of the spout). If the hot ways are restricted then the cold will overwhelm the hot. So you should get inside and see if there is any carp in there.
Does it have conventional tap head gear? If so check that the washer hasn't disintegrated and blocked the ways.
Does it have ceramic disc technology (the 1/4 turn type)? Try replacing the hot cartridge.
