Well My first time ordering with asda , and I wont be doing it again
Shopping came , checked through it and im 6 items missing , milk , ham and marg .

Great I needed these for tommorrow as my 3 year old son loves having ham sarnis for his breaky ( weird I know)

Phoned them up , said I think Im a bag missing, asked for the driver to revisit with the missing bag , got nnnnnnnnnnno we will refund you and thats it.

The asda is only round the corner grrrrrrrrr grrrrrrrrrrrr grrrrrrr

now have to wait 3-5 working days before they refund me for 10 quids worth of food , and make a trip to mr T as well , shall i charge asda petrol :rotfl:

Have you ordered with any of the other supermarkets? I've had stuff missing before with Asda and they refund. Not sure what you expect the driver to do. The bag could quite easily have ended up with the wrong customer.

I bought 9 bottles of wine from Asda last week on the 3 for £10 offer. 3x 2 different whites and 3x a rose. The white wines were not in stock so they gave 3x sparkling white and 3x red as substitutes...How on earth did the person picking the wine select those substitutes?

Anyway, got on to the phone and complained. The Sparkling wine is going to be refunded (I'd only noticed that mistake when I picked up the phone) so I've ended up with 9 bottles of wine for the price of 6 (£20). The sparking will be great for xmas and the red will make excellent gifts when visiting others at xmas.

I've done well with Asda's mistakes in the past so I wouldn't let this problem you've had put you off.

Make sure you keep the reciept/details and an eye on your bank account. They may *forget* to process the refund as I have discovered in the past (and to my cost when it was a month later I realised it had never been paid back!)

I have never had a problem with tescos . I may shop with them again but im so angry as i needed the items for the morning.

My 4 year old DD does too

We never had a problem with asda though

Right , I now have another problem. Asda Phoned me today to say my payment did not go out . I checked my bank sure that the payment had gone out as it was on my statement , and low and behold it had dissapeared. Asda had refunded me for the bag that wasnt there , so why the hell didnt the payment not go out. They have left it a week to contact me , and frankly i cant afford 2 payments for groceries this week.

Arggggggggggggggggggggh they are making me so angry ..

Still not sorted . Im getting angry now they phoned , last week demanding payment , i have phoned them 7 times up to now and I havnt come to an agreement , as I tried to sort it with the delivery store and they couldnt help , after being sent from one side of the city to the other , with a toddler on a match day . Im less than impressed with them . I keep missing the calls , from a the accounts section thats open 9-5 , which is great when I work those hours as well. I want to make a payment but with the inconvieniance it has caused me for the imcompetance of asda "Cancelling" my payment as they had delivered the goods I am getting more and more reluctant to pay full wack.
