If it does not apply to them then there is nothing to get around. IMO these goods come under perishable goods so DSR's is irrelevant.

As for their condition, if they want to offer postage, then yes they must ensure they arrive safely. If theyre worried of the risk then then should not be offering delivery on them.

I agree, and in a cack handed way that is what I was saying, I would suppose SoGA would also apply, but re DSR, I still say they have some input regardless of perishable goods not coming under them as the quote I supplied would be enough for them to qualify;- "These items belong to you until they have been accepted by your consumer.", and that would mean in good condition!
