website not opening! help!

hello I need some help. I am currently in germany and for some reason, the british airways website is not opening. I have asked my friends in another building to check if the website opens in their flat, but theirs does not open either. I need to book my flight home and I'm stuck.

Anyway, what I mean to say is, is there any way that I might be able to open the british airways website? why is it blocked?:mad:

expedia.com book BA flights and I've only ever found them to be a quid or two dearer than booking direct with BA?

I'm in germany at the moment and I dont know why the website is not opening. I find the BA website easier to use than expedia. But Is there any way to unlock the site?

Any suggestions please?

Try using a proxy to open it. I had this problem when in a foreign country trying to book flights and they restrict where can open them

Thanks for the reply, but sorry to sound simple (and thick:o) but what is a proxy? and how do I use it to unlock the site?

do u have a firewall; try disabling temp.

or try disabling any internet security software you are running temporarily.

I sometimes use the service at zeroblox to watch iPlayer abroad, might work for you?

Thanks for all the replies but still no luck. I have disabled my antivirus and switched my firewall off but still nothing is happening. I am sweating now as I need to book my flight by british airways.
Anyway, I don't know if this is of any help but I pinged the british airways website on my laptop and these are the results
