SMI and lender good news

Not having heard yet from the dwp about my reviewed mortgage payments i spoke to my lender this morning(a fairly small 5 branch BS),they seemed unsure of what was happening(they thought the new smi rate would be 0.5% lol) i explained exactly what was happening....anyway to cut a long story short they offered me there and then a new deal,3.99% fixed for 3 years, the arrangement fee usually £495 reduced to £200(and added to mortgage).
Might be worth anyone affected talking to their lender...
this brings my rate to with 0.3% of smi,and instead of having to find £50 a month i`m now only looking at around £10(approx)
