    Hi RT,

Moyra is confident she can fill any size room with clothes and shoes and, having seen her on her January sales frenzy, I can well believe it. We might have to significantly downsize the house to be able to afford all the unnecessary crap she wants to stick in it!

    Cheers,

    Billy

    Morning All,

I've become a proper fan of the MSE Grabbit board in the last week while and the current big hit is reducing the cost of the sky subscription by 50% for six months. Just gave Sky a call and they did that without any hassle at all. Another win for MSE!

Just getting over the remainder of the man flu so aiming to hit the gym this weekend (free 3-day Esporta pass) and get back into the way of the Wii Fit. Horrified to have put two pounds on since starting the latest attempt at a diet but I'm blaming the illness and long periods of inactivity for that (and not the Christmas chocolates!).

Tried my hand at my first shot of drawing. I can now manage a relatively creditable rubber duck, a mournful looking gremlin and a perplexed looking dog. The latter two seem very happy in the pictures I'm copying but for the life of me I can't get a smile that doesn't look really stupid. I'm planning on having a crack at a horse's head tomorrow. The Mandarin is coming along at no great pace (in no small part to my efforts at stick cricket on the iphone) but it's better than it was a week ago and, despite my posture exercises (which I'm sure have sheared the bottom of my spine), my singing has improved not a bit. That's the one that will definitely need professional help.

I'll away and update the SOA as it seems de rigeur to stick a shiny new one up.

    Cheers,

    Billy

    Hi Foggy,

    Certainly - http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.php?f=36

Indeed - all the annual costs get fired away elsewhere. I'll add those in now. Anything from the dastardly agencies yet?

    Cheers,

    Billy

    Thanks Froggy,

For some reason the laptop crashes everytime I try to get onto the "my account" type page so I can't get to the PMs. I uploaded a photo last week to the profile which may well have upset MSE to such an extent that it's fighting back! Glad you've got what you're after thus far.

    Cheers,

hehe I have comments. Firstly you sure the SOA is accurate?? £250 a year for theater and concerts?? now i have no idea what Moyra is into but the Playhouse is £40 a ticket. Takethat was £70 a pop and as you said theater shows and concerts thinking with programs and maybe a meal before hand even if she is going with friends not alone that £250 would disappear over 2-3 nights.

Clothes/shoes/pressies/online shopping £100 a month :rotfl:I could spend that on a handbag!! I am guessing M is in you avatar.. she is not spending £15 a month on haircuts.. i'm female I know these things :rotfl:
    MF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:

    Hi LP,

Fair enough. She is actually only scheduled to go to Blood Brothers, Grease and Bon Jovi this year. If Stephen Lynch comes on tour in 2011 to the UK, we've promised all the people that we've converted that we'll get a bus together and grab 50 seats...the regret of such promises only hits me later!

After the sprees of the recent couple of months, Moyra has at least admitted to not having any room to buy more clothes. Now that the excuses of "that's worn out" and "that doesn't fit" are gone, she can't be needing that much more. She has tried to hurry the new house to give her more room. I don't think she's as fussed for the big house nearly as much as she is for the opportunity to shop and fill the thing. The £15 a month includes me as well for haircuts! I'm a tenner every 6 weeks and she's all of £15 for a cut every three months or so. Mortgage free or not, £100 on a handbag wouldn't go down well!

    Cheers,

    Billy
