    Hi Tilly,

Paint is right. Three of the 4 let so all is going more or less to plan. Work should end in the next fortnight on number 4 and then we'll get on the case for the fifth! This is going to go a wee bit slower than we had originally planned but we've got some time so better to take it slow and get it 100% right.

    Cheers,

    Billy

    Hi ATT,

Work may be picking up a wee bit. The next six-eight weeks will be fairly critical in deciding whether or not this is the right place for me. Needs a few folk to step up and start producing or someone to recognise what isn't working and being hard enough to take the necessary measures.

We're taking it pretty easy as it is. There haven't been many dramas with the BTL piece now that the initial works have been done and the tenants are in - I do need to get insurance for propoerty 4 though - that's been three weeks and I've not gotten round to it! Got self-assessments to do now as well for Moyra and I so that will be an experience in the next wee while as well. Only got something in the region of 3-4 weeks of extra income to declare and close to £24,000 of extra expensiture so I can't see a big tax bill looming! Famous last words...

I'm pretty sure the temperature dropped a good 6 degrees in my drive back from Woking the other day. All the torrential rain came in that England though! It maybe just follows the Scottish about...

    Cheers,

    Billy

Come on Mr Billy, this really isn't good enough, your readers await :rotfl:

Hope you're doing ok Billy, I've not been on here for about three weeks and expected (aka hoped ;)) to have lots of doohnibor updates to read

I thought of you a couple of weeks ago when I saw a bit of a property programme with places going to auction. One property had no bathroom, I don't just mean no bathroom I mean there was no actual room! All there was was a tiny space with a toilet in and that was it! Another property did have a bathroom and the floor and walls were all tiled and when they took the tiles off they found it had been tiled three times where the next set of tiles had just been put straight on top of the old and that was floor and walls:eek:
I know tiles aren't too thick but I bet after all that the room was starting to be smaller than it actualy was

PS, did you get the tax returns done ok?

    Regards
    ATT

  • Morning Billy, stopping by to check how the empire is building? Hopefully all the properties are let out now and the renovations were straight forward.

Are you having a rest or looking for the next property?

    Best wishes Tilly x
