INR case - help please

Although I have been buying on ebay for many years I have never had to open an INR case until now, and I'm a bit confused so I wonder if someone could advise me please. Here are the facts.

On 4th October I bid on a book and as I was the only bidder I got it for the starting price of 99p + £2 postage. I paid immediately with Paypal.

On 14th October, just when I was about to chase it up, I had a message from the seller saying she had been ill and someone was going to post it for her that afternoon.

On 19th October it still hadn't arrived so I sent a very polite message asking if it had been sent, and if not when it was likely to be, but have heard nothing else from her since.

On 23rd October I opened an INR case with ebay which is still showing 'awaiting seller's action'.

On 30th October I sent her a pleasant and polite message through the resolution centre saying I hope she will contact me, but still no response from her.

So two questions - 1. If she is genuinely ill I don't want to hassle her (and I'm inclined to believe her as her only neg was 2 days ago and for the same reasons) but on the other hand I don't want to leave it until it's too late to act - what should I do? and 2. If I decide to continue with the dispute how do I do it? The only options on the resolution page are to send a message or to close the dispute.

Sorry to be a bit of a doofus but I'd really appreciate your advice.

EDIT: Just in case anyone thinks I'm being a total tightwad over £2.99, honestly I'm not - it's the book I want, not the refund!
Oh dear, here we go again.

I wouldn't worry about the dispute too much. Just let it run its course and get a refund via paypal.

If the seller is genuinely ill I'm sure a dispute is the last thing on her mind.

Unfortunately though there is nothing else you can do to guarantee that you get your book.
