I second the Frontcover praise, I got a set for £3 in the last 75% off sale and it is fab fab fab. :T

I don't usually shop at Boots, so the advantage points probably won't be any good for me - especially as I don't have a card.

His girlfriend is nearly 17 and said she likes any bath stuff from Boots, so hopefully she would like this.

Ask your son (if he's been to her house) what brands she uses i.e. are there any obvious teenage-girl brands in the bathroom (S&G, FCUK etc), that might help. Otherwise I would say the S&G set is a good bet!

I also want to be your son's GF, you are very generous! :D

p.s. all you ladies who buy the presents-for-yourselves-from-OH, does your OH reimburse you or how does it work? I've hinted (and told!) OH what to buy me on occasion but never physically bought myself something 'from' him. Although I did have to leave a webpage open on something I wanted a while back so that he would get the right item lol!

I would wait to get it for your mum ;)
Is this a hint that there WILL be a no.7 ootw? is it the £60 one?
my skin is in dire need of some good skincare, didn't know whether to get this, or go and buy a liz earle set.

I bet there will be at least one No. 7 offer - there always is and it usually is the £60 one - I am hoping so as I want it for my Mum/soon to be grandma! At the end of the day No. 7 is Boots own brand so why would they not put it on offer!

I have to say that i do this, to make sure that i get the make up etc that I want, but i tend to ask him for his bank card or some money up front and am generally honest what I want it for..... he then gives it to the kids to wrap up for me and they're none the wiser that I bought it myself!!!!! :rotfl: They love it xmas morning when 'its just what I wanted'!!! :T

I buy my own presents from my hubby (and he's quite happy with that arrangement as he hates to shop, lol). We have a shared bank account and he says what's his is mine (very sweet considering he has a lot more than I do!), so I don't have to ask for the money up front.

In your case, if you're not sure if you would ask him to reimburse you, it's probably better to run it by him first and ask for the money beforehand (good idea anyhow so that he knows what price-range the gift is -- I usually run it by the hubby just so he knows what he's buying me and how much it costs, lol). He might be relieved to not have to think up a gift himself! And I always thank my hubby and let him know I'm thrilled when I open the gift, even though it's not a surprise.

Oh, I would never actually buy my own gift from him, but I do usually have to tell him what it is, email him a link or point it out in a shop lol! :rotfl: Men eh...
