Hi,
I'm not much into DIY at all but just borrowed my neighbours ladders & as I stood on them my foot went through the wood. He must have left them outside & they have gone rotten.
hummmm.....
they seem a bit beyond repair.
Any idea where I can buy cheap step ladders from to replace them. These are wooden but I guess any will do.
Cheers,

I use aluminimn steps, and I find they are very good, they are so light to move and carry, and fairly strong, but depending on how big the neighbour is, I think they only take up to a certain weight, but you can buy some for heavier people.
The cheapest places are B&Q, wicks homebase etc.0 -
nice one thanks found some on homebase for 20-35 quid.
I panicked a bit cuz the only ones I could find before were £150!
Just got to tell my neighbour now

I reckon if you go to B n Q you might get them even cheaper. But saying that i just got a small set from Robert Dyas which only cost me £9.99.0

Hi
Aldi and Lidl both had them recently about £12.99. I've been using a set of Aldi ones for 3 years now and can recommend them. Your neighbour's onto a good thing isn't he? I'd suggest you go halves!0 -
cool,
thanks for all the replies, there is a lidl round the corner from us so I'll pop in tomorrow & see if they are open.
as for going halves I'm always borrowing stuff from him so I don't mind if they are uner 30 quid.
cheers,
