Tesco home delivery

Is it just me or do others have problems with Tesco home delivery.......

Three weeks in a row I have had problems......... missing food, squashed christmas cards....... this week the icing on the cake was "They just cancelled" the delivery with 30 mins notice..... no offer of re-delivery just that they would refund me.

I went off on one, mainly because my dd has been poorly and couldnt go to the store..... So I had to get a sitter to watch her so I could go to the store and get my shopping.

They offered to refund my delivery charge (still waiting)
They gave me a 10 E-voucher (no use cause i refuse to use .com again)

Just though I would have a good RANT about Mr T!!!!

Thanks for listening.

I stopped using them as their service was so poor and their customer service people were so unhelpful. And their web page was buggy. I now use Sainsbury almost entirely. They have one-hour delivery slots and are very reliable. This week the driver 'phoned, very apologetically, to say he'd be a bit late. When he turned up, just a couple of minutes late, he gave me a voucher for £10 off my next online shop as an apology. And once when they forgot bread I'd ordered, customer services rang the store, they rang me, and they sent a van round that evening.
(They also do "internet shopping" by 'phone and orders can be changed by 'phone, useful if there's an internet problem.)

They have never been that good, used to deliver from one store and they were great and then one opened even closer, they blamed teething problems, not 3yrs down the line :(

I think the service differs greatly depending on which store you are getting it from as there are so many things that can effect the delivery. Also I find sometimes it differs dependant on the day you order due to their delivery issues and which staff are picking your shopping.

One time when their system went down all the managers at our local store had to pick the shopping as all the normal staff had finished their shifts and some of it was a mess.

Tesco delivery are awful. I once had an order arrive with over half of it missing, after an hour of trying to get it sorted I finally got them to agree to send the rest, and when that arrived, half of that was missing!

In the end it took a week and 3 deliveries to get all my stuff, and they insisted on charging me £5 for each of the three deliveries. Never shopping there again, switched to sainsburies.
