Why cant people keep their bigoted opinions to themselves. If speed traps are legal at the moment, let people have them without having a go.
Its supposed to be a friendly community, not a place for the opinions of busybodies.
Im sure people only want them, so that they can do 80 on the Motorway without losing their license.
    Be nice

It's morally wrong to have these. I live in an area where motorists speed regularly in a resident street, I have seen a young chuild been knocked by an idiot driver who thinks nothing but himself.

I have been campaigning for years about having some traffic claming to slow vechiles down and to make our streets safe.

WE SHOULD STOP THE CARNAGE THAT EVERY YEAR KILL INNOCENT VICTIMS.

The differenece between 30-35 is you can get there a little bit quicker at most BUT more importantly its could be life or death for the victim.

No longer a user, goodbye folks. PLEASE delete my account. Thank you

guys, this is not the place to have a discussion on the ethics, merits or otherwise of these devices. I'd be really grateful if we could keep this thread relating purely to the bargain, not the whys and wherefores, rights and wrongs. Thankyou :)

From Honest John's motoring column in the Torygraph two weeks ago:
    Watching the detectors

    Q. You might like to warn drivers travelling overseas that they must remove all trace of speed camera detectors from their cars. I was stopped at a motorway toll booth in France. I convinced the gendarme that it was not switched on, otherwise I could have been fined £750. As it was I had to pay £500.
    P.A., via e-mail

    A. I thought this was well known. It has been the case in France for about five years, but there's no harm in repeating your warning. Radar and laser-based detectors will also become illegal in the UK later this year.
Looks like the bottom's falling out of the speed-detection market

You would save even more money by not buying the detector and just not speeding thereby saving money and lives.

Speeding has got nothing to do with saving lives.

Speeding does not kill or hurt anyone.

    Dangerous driving does.

This government make you all believe that driving a few miles an hour over the speed limit kills people, but most people do this everyday, and I don't see people getting killed every time drivers break speed limits.

Forgot to mention that this bargain is a waste of money, as Police do not use Radar anymore, and most new cameras use sensors in the road, so this detector is not going to help.

Best to buy a GPS based camera detector.
Cameras are all about money making, and nothing to do with saving lives.

Deaths are up as people are looking at their speedometers and not looking at road ahead.

    Quoted from the site:

"Why don’t I sell ‘GPS’ detectors?

Simply, because they are not effective and (much) more expensive. They are effective but you have to pay a monthly subscription fee."

So there not effective and yet they are... hmm glad thats cleared up...

My original Road Angel subscription is £99 for life. No monthly fee at all.

It also works very well. Best £350 I have spent.

    Hmm... Smells like an advert.

Besides that machine is well out of date, not to mention you can get speed detectors for under 200quid anyway.

A quick search on kelkoo direct me to this:

    - Much more well know company.

Also the OP website has very poor grammar, if your trying to set up an business atleast use correct grammar.
