Can i get a secured loan in my name only if mortgage is in joint names

Hi
i am looking into possibility of a secured loan, i am 33 yrs old and own a joint mortgage with my mam who is 75, looking to get a secured loan for approximately £25,000 howver as my mam is 75 can i get the secured loan in my name only.

Not if she is joint owner of the property. You cannot borrow money secured on someone elses assets without them knowing about it.0
