  • Time to confess my sins!

    Not really, ive done well today, well i think so anyway!

    Been xmas shopping and bought five presents, still some more to get though. Bought two girly presents from Next totalling £24.98 and had vouchers for £20. And three boys presents from Boots from their '3 for 2' offers, totalling £24, had £25 in vouchers. All the vouchers were from surveys which i would never have done if it werent for MSE so THANK YOU!

    Oh, and some eggs! (not for xmas!)

    Total = £5.98

  • Saturday is never a no-spend day here.... :eek:
    £30 weekly shop
    £61 monthly bus pass
    £10 cash for the week

    I was going to spend a fiver on a cab home from shopping (a treat!) but in the end got the bus so feeling a bit more virtuous. Am flagging a bit with the trudge towards being debtfree after 3 months of being good; paydays aren't coming quickly enough!

    Wishing my life away!

    Have good weekends all xx

    Spent £118 on meat, but got £25 back from my mother, and the rest is out of the joint account.

    I wonder if buying a half-cow is cheaper... ;)

  • Just back from an 8 hour shift, which ended up costing me £5.60 in coffees and lunch (taking own food really wasn't an option in this instance, honest). It was a good day (as work goes) but exhausting, so I'm off to soak in the bath. No more spending for me today!

  • had to buy some bits to fit the carpet that I got last week (£9.26) and some oil for my car as she's leaky :( (£16.99 for a super duper big one cos it's cheaper than lots of little ones and my car needs lots!!!), and a couple of bits from the supermarket. Big sin was a huge pack of coke :o but it was on £1 off and I do need the caffeine as I'm working tonight! Excuses, excuses, excuses! :p
