can incapacity be paid weekly ?

just wondered if anyone gets paid weekly ?

Comments

  • My husband does, but he went onto it before they started transferring people to fortnightly payments- we expect him to be transferred next year. I don't know if they would allow weekly payments now, but it's always worth asking.

You can still appeal and ask for weekly payments to be considered. You will need to supply reasons why you require weekly paymments tho... It isnt very likely that your appeal will be accepted tho.

Sorry- you cannot 'appeal' and take this matter to a tribunal - you can only ask DWP/JCP. However, as richard9991 says, all those claiming working age benefits are being being required to be paid fortnightly.
  • My husband's is paid four-weekly. AFAIK he was not offered a choice.

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton

I dont think anyone mentioned a tribunal..? You still have the right to ask for consideration to recieve weekly benefit payments... maybe appeal was the incorrect term... so apologies why do some folk get so uppety about terminology

You can ask for weekly but it will only be for a short period if they agree and if they do it will only be the once
