Just got an e-mail from BT to tell me my bills will be online in future. I think I have read if you take this option, there is a refund of 25p, no mention of that in the e-mail.

That's a bit of a con. IIRC, the 25p 'reduction' for online only billing is due to start on 1/1/07 (increased to 50p/month from 1/6/07).Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0 -
Thanks, does that mean if I opt for the online now. I will get the 25p reduction on the 1/1/07. It does give me the option to retain my paper bill if I want.0
