Glad to have been a help to everyone who managed to get the extra 50% off. It's nice to be able to return the favour, when I've benefitted from posts here many a time!

Here's to the next one we find!

This was not a double post, you had posted 50% off, this was 70% off plus a further 50% off so in essence a £20 costume for £2.50!
It has ended now as fixed the offer banner, they forgot to take down before changing to 70% off! Kids outfits were going for £1.50!

Feeling very Grrrrrr with M+S, I ordered one of their 50% off halloween outfits for my daughter as she had a halloween party to go to on sunday night, we had a delivery to our local store date of sunday 31st(Halloween) so nipped there about 3pm on sunday last minute to collect her outfit as it was a surprise for her, only to be told it wasn't there, and to contact their customer care services, this morning (Monday 1st november) I get an email saying
"sorry but your order for halloween outfit cannot be delivered to the store because it was lost or damaged" and that thay have refunded my £5.00, I can't believe they could do that, my daughter had to go with a sheet wrapped round her, I was fuming so I called customer services right away this morning, the CS was really Blah about it and I lost my rag, she then offered me £5 off my next online order, so I hung up and wrote a really sh**ty email to them, I haven't heard anything back yet but, not sure that I will.#
I wouldn't mind if it was a duvet or something normal, but to give me a date of 31st Oct to pick up her halloween outfit and then we get an email on the 1st is just plain wrong Grrrrr, ok rant over!!!

Yes you're so right to be annoyed at M&S. We expect a lot from M&S and especially from their CS. Once an item is ordered, it then has to be set aside within their system and go through their despatch process tightly where nothing can get lost. If Amazon are getting it wrong when processing for M&S, then maybe they have taken too much on board. I once received a box with some clothing and 2 vases which were just put into the box with no bubble wrap and, needless to say the vases were in smithereens when delivered to me. Should not happen from one of the market leaders. So very disappointing for you and your little daughter that they let you down on the very day you needed it. They should have offered you another outfit from the shop floor if they had any. :(

  • my devil fairy outfits are waiting at my local store to be collected today(although i know they will keep them for me for a few days)
it states on the website that the store closes at 18.00,so tonight i dropped my dd off at her dance class and headed to the store to pick them up.
I ended up getting stuck in traffic but managed to arrive a 17.52 only to find the doors locked!so now im going to have to go back tomorrow!i dont know if im being a bit moaney but this has really annoyed me surely if a store is advertised as closing at 18.00 it should close at 18.00
