  • Thanks for joining me Mollina Girl. How did you get on?
I cleared the upstairs landing and the top of the close stairs (nearly done) I still have to skip a lot of the shop cardboard etc from the close, and prepare it for the wardrobe (we bought ages ago) which gets delivered tomorrow morning, :j so I'll be HHCing again at 1.45 if anyone wants to join in. Going to have a cup of tea first though.

    Afternoon ladles and jellyspoons,

I've spent the morning comparing insurance quotes, as I've just bought a new car (to me - it's 2007 with one previous owner). I'll be sad to see my little old car go, but it'd started to cost me more than it was worth. I've got to wait until Wednesday to pick up the new car, but have sorted and paid for the insurance already. It's a Honda Jazz in Silver Storm. It was quite a lot of money  but at least it shouldn't have too many problems (being fairly new and judging by reviews online) and will be ideal when Moon and I start to have a family.

Flying wise, apart from that, all I've managed is to do a load of white washing (was  when I noticed I'd dropped just 1 white sock on the way to the washing machine, and it was too late to put it in - still Moon is wearing a white shirt, so there will be stuff in the basket when he gets home anyway).

Off to find some soup for lunch, as I'm freezing. Hope everyone is well.

Well done to you and DS Hellyboo - may the toilet training continue to be a success.

Thank you pigpen :) Inspired! I saw the recycling lorry going the other way so I've run around trying to find anything I can to top up the bin before they come back down our way!

    sockdrawer, I'm with you!

sexymouse, that's so exciting! When do you pick it up?

Oh dear, hellyboo :( stay calm! It's just a good excuse to give the box a good old rinse out and refill it with toys that aren't broken ;)

    Hiya
Sorry I didn't get on yesterday. Managed to slip on the stairs and then bang my head on the chest of drawers by the front door. DH is away but DD was fantastic and went and got a neighbour. Anyway, luckily I've just sprained my ankle and the bump on my head might just knock some sense in to me. I'm still a big shaken by it though....visions of broken wrists etc. So, I'm on light duties until I can walk a bit better.

Christmas Elf 'Boddy' - thank you, the vouchers arrived today. You're a total star xxxxxx

    Hugs to everyone xxxx

Fire lit, bin bags in attic, lunch done. The chairs outside are broke to so i've rung a place and i'm to go down next week and see there table and chairs. Hopefully i'll get a bargain. :D

Now to get loads of sticks in and get Rhys sorted.

  • Mudbath - How horrible! Do take it easy. Falls are such nasty things.
Doozergirl, Thank you for joining me. I managed to get a whole heap of cardboard boxes decluttered from the close to the council recycling yard (in spite of MIL wanting to hold onto them until there was enough to justify a bonfire! Aaargh, it's a fire hazard as it is!) I'll be flying again with a HHC at 2.30 if anyone wants to join in?

    Well done!

I found my kitchen worktops :o Cleared up a broken glass and then broke another one in the process. Cleared downstairs of obvious debris and got the old dining chairs out of the kitchen and put them in the garage - I've already taken pics for ebay. Emptied and loaded the dishwasher again and made a good start cleaning all the worktops.

I'd love to join you again but I just sat down! Need some tea and food before the school run.
