Can't get time right since end of BST

I have altered my settings to show BST as the time, but now all the posts say an hour later, e.g. if someone posted at 7.00 (and if it's only 7.05 now, before anyone asks how I know!) the time of the post shows as 8.00.

I also have the automatically adjust for DST checked - is this what is causing the problem?

Make sure that you settings are like this:



That will make all the times appear correct while you are logged in.

As usual, after the clocks change the server is getting the time wrong by one hour if you are NOT logged in. Happens every time the clocks change for some reason?

Hopefully the MSE team will sort the server setting out ASAP to correct that.

Ah, that's done the trick. I didn't have the second option set right ('cos I'm not sure what it means lol).

When you are not logged in to the boards, you can see that the default forum time is still incorrectly set to BST (GMT +1).

Hi guys,

This is sorted now. If you're logged in you'll still need to change the settings in your User CP. Go to User CP, Edit Options, and look for the Date & Time Options box.
