Really, I was looking for the plastic type bags rather than the jiffy bags really - can't see any on there?
Only looking for 15 at most too. just thought if I could pick them up in a shop rather than wait for them to be posted...0 -

Hi
I know you were looking for somewhere other than ebay, but the place i've found best is an ebay supplier called just_packaging_supplies.
They are excellent,And if you send a message saying you are desperate, they are very accomodating ( and give a personal service).
We use them all the time, and have never had a complaint,( their delivery times are good too!).
When we have run short of packing supplies, we've found it difficult to find in the shops ( but we use the very large bags) so it would depend on the size you are looking for.
Other places to try besides Poundland are stationers, e.g: Rymans. Also, we found Wilkinsons also have a limited supply.
Hope this helps !0 -
High street stationers like Rymans and Smiths are very expensive per envelope, so not really a good idea if you are hoping to keep prices low.
For the quantities I sell, Poundland is more than sufficient. Bulk suppliers are better for larger quantities."Well, it's election year, Bill, we'd rather people didn't exercise common sense..." - Jed Bartlet, The West Wing, season 4

Was in poundland today looking for brown parcel tape (there seems to be a complete shortage as all my local shops including Tesco are out of stock) and noticed that the padded envelopes are now down to 7 in a pack!0

Mine went down to 4 in a pcak a white ago except for the little diddy ones that are down to 6. Also the brown parcel tape is only 33m long, the stuff i now buy in bulk is 50m long.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
