Don't know if this is the right place to post this but this is the board I spend most of my time on!!!
It's my partners 40th Birthday soon and having watched the £1024 for nothing challenge I have set my eldest daughters a challenge of thier own.
To get dad 40 presents for £40 or less. They have been busy writing letters and today received their first "freebie" a pen from a brewery - they are so excited!! we have also got the free razor. Today we are of to hit the cosmetic counters to see if they can get any samples for his hamper
Hope you don't mind me posting this here - am realy proud of them:beer: :j

Sounds like a pretty cool idea... I may just borrow it!
:heartpuls CG :heartpulsEver wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.0 -

Thanx for your support - we're off to our local "big" town today to hit cosmetic counter so wish them luck!!! also think they have a poundland - we don't have any round here so it makes it a bit harder but they are up for the challenge!!

Thats a cool idea! How long do they have to get all the presents together?
If you have a 'The Works' near you that might be worth a look - a books / stationary place that always seems to have cheap deals. I've got some stuff like action / martial arts film DVDs for 99p before. Usually very old films, but sometimes stuff I was after but couldn't find elsewhere.DFW Nerd No. 140
