High spot - went to the Tourette Syndrome AGM in London with my son, who has TS. Never been exactly a great night out, but.......

Not only was one of the guests James Mc'Connel, and ace composer with TS who was really funny, but Pete Bennett turned up - the winner of Big Brother, who also has TS.

Pete nominated the TSA as his charity - which gave them £400k - and this might have accounted for some of the outstanding goodwill that everyone felt towards him. However, he also spent the whole night with kids who also have TS, just talking to them, and gave a fantasic presentation at the end.

What ever you think of BB, C4, Pete Bennett etc, may I just say what he has done to boost the confidence of children with TS. His contribution to their lives has meant so much. For many, they have gone from zeros to heros, because of him. And frankly, a nicer bloke you would find hard to meet....

I am so pleased for Pete Bennett, he deserves the time he is having now, especially going to enjoy it now he has got rid of Nikki!
