I nipped in and got another box today but had to pay £9.99 as they wouldnt let me take the voucher out.

There was 100's of boxes, all stacked up, I think there expecting these to sell well.

A word of warning. If you buy online make sure you put 2 in the quantity box. I didn't, thinking I would automatically get another free. After reading this thread I phoned Thorntons and they confirmed that you have to put 2 in the box otherwise you will only get one. Luckily they had not dispatched my order and altered it for me.

i bought a box this morning

went to work and took the voucher out, went back in and bought another box, handed over the £5 voucher to the young girl on the till, and the till wouldn't accept it.
So she went in the back and asked the manager who came out, and said that people were buying boxes and removing the vouchers and coming back in and getting another box for £5, and now this has been fixed on the till.

She showed me the other boxes in the continental section, and there is one for £15 so the voucher would make this £10.

Seems this is over in our town, hope other are lucky.

Im have started to eat a box of mine, i couldnt resist they were just sat there calling my name.

I love thorntons at christmas, so many chocolately glitches and offers.

I'm well cheesed off. I got my order delivered this evening. One box of chocolates and a chocolate lolly, no 2nd box of chocs and no box of mingles for nearly £25 ! I'm going to call them in the morning.

My Moments were missing too... Ive emailed them so hopefully they'll honor it...

Anyway, thats not what I dug this thread out for... I just wanted to say MY GOONESS the boxes of choccys are MASSIVE!! Was going to give a box to the mother in law from the kids but am thinking they're a bit nice for that now :rotfl:

Anyway, dont know if I'll be able to leave them alone for that long

Bargain for £9.99 each, the moments would be a definite bonus though.

The boxoes are massive they contain 60 chocolates. Lovely design compared to that boring goldy colour they've has for like ever. Makes them look more expensive than they actually are.

The ''there too nice to give away'' excuse is the same one im using.

Why should other people get all the goodies.

Im actually wating mine so I can compare then to the tasting club chocolates i eagerly waiting for.
