Selling items of different size and colour

I need some advice here. I am trying to sell some items of clothing, an area that I am not familiar with and stuff I bought on a mad whim and would just like to shift it. they have been gathering dust for 6 months.

Ebay have just pulled my listing because I gave buyers the option of stating size and colour:-

White:- Small, Medium and Large

Red:- Small and Large

I am at a loss on why I a supposed to be circumventing fees, I only listed one item to sell, the listing was not for multiple items but I gave buyers the choice of choosing which size or colour they preffered.

Will I have to list each individually? I really expect to struggle to shift these!!

Hintza choice auctions are allowed as long as any winners can choose anything they want, and not be limited to what has already been chosen.

Therefore a BIN auction for 1 lot would be allowed as the winner could choose anything from the list and you pay your fees for 1 sold item. A dutch BIN would not be allowed as it would imply that later winners would only be able to choose from what was left.

A straight auction however is iffy...I would suspect that someone has reported you for fee avoidance and ebay have agreed because a less scrupulous seller would be able to harvest the underbidder emails to try and sell of the remaining lots. IE, winning bidder chooses item A, a seller could then go to all underbidders offering items B-G (or whatever) thus avoiding fees.

That is only my interpretation and of course we all know that ebay are often illogical in the way they work. An honest seller such as yourself would probably have overlooked this potential 'fee avoidance' scenario that a rival seller has picked up on.

Hi soo It was acatually a BIN (fixed price) for 1 item ( I had intended making it a multiple BIN but forgot) so I am completely at a loss.

Having re-read the rules I have removed reference to different sizes and listed 4 with two colour options will see what happens this time.
