Yikes. My cat is currently smarming and shouting as he knows it's dinner time soon.

Now that the mouse has sat and looked at me in a rather sweet way I can't leave the cat to eat it.
I used to have pet mice when I was younger (bad idea with cats of course) and one day our cat got one and ran round house with it in his mouth- I had to leave him to it as the other option was to try to do CPR on dying mangled mouse- I'm now mentally scarred and feel it is my duty to that poor mouse of mine to save any others that I can. Will go check if the food I left for it has encouraged it out of corner.

  • I'm reading too, good luck :)

Making a garment of clothing sounds good, any ideas on what you'll make?

Hi there ilovethecomps not sure what to make yet- whatever is easiest so might have a look on the internet later to get some ideas.
Entering competitions will also have to be one of my targets- well done on starting that and thanks for posting xxx

As well as comps have you tried online surveys. I do a few and collect Amazon vouchers from them. Always good for buying new books :)

I haven't done no- which ones do you do? That is all very new to me but I often read people saying they get freebies etc from doing them Could you let me know where to look and register if that is what I need to do?

Mouse is still in bathroom- we've got quite attached now so can't let him get eaten. will have to wait until DH gets back in though as it keeps running away from me. Going to make banana muffins now. This sofa is so comfy that once I'm on it I just can't get off it- terrible. I'm usually not a lazy person but I do find it hard once I'm on internet and sitting down that I can't motivate myself to do much else. Mind you I don't watch much TV these days- just find myself on here or much worse, wasting precious hours of my life on Facebook- which brings me to add some more targets.

    15) Enter competitions and complete surveys for cash.
    16) Monitor time spent on internet- particularly Facebook. In fact might even have a complete ban on Facebook as it is a total time waster and I find myslef doing some RIDICULOUS stalking!! (not in a psycho stalker way though)

you sound like me. im always on facebook, its always running in the background.

my sig does not list all my debts as theres that many, but they will be added over time. surveys are pretty quick to do but some do take a while before they pay out.

The ones I do are Valued Opinions, Ipsos, Lightspeed Panel and YouGov. I like Valued Opinions the best right now. I have £9.95 credit (you can cash in for a voucher when you hit £10), about £5 pending and free facewash to use/trial. Some of the facewash was rubbish but one was OK and saves me buying it. I do use a seperate gmail for them to avoid any spam on my usual email.

Hmm banana muffins sound lovely. I'm baking for an event my OH is doing for Children in Need. He is into gaming so is helping organise a retro gaming event. I'm going to bake a large round cake and decorate it to look like pac man and cup cakes (not sure how to decorate yet). I keep having practice runs which OH loves. There is a marble cake sat in the kitchen half eaten that I made Saturday afternoon - woops. I think I might have to hide the final Children in Need goodies from him. I'm a bit rubbish at icing so they look amature but taste lovely.

Mouse sounds like he is going to be fun to catch :)

I spend too long on Facebook and forums too. But then at least it doesn't cost much!

True that it doesn't cost much- that hadn't really occurred to me! Ha ha.

Muffins are looking good- may taste weird though as they were from Weight Watchers cook book.

As usual, still left bit of work til last minute but will hve quick look at it and maybe do it in the morning very bright and early. Can't go to bed though until DH is home to save the rodent. Pac man cakes sound genius- very impressive. I shall have a look at those sites and give them a go- thanks for that xxx

Oh dear, having tied to persuade people to follow me, I then failed in my promise (to myself) to actually post anything. Been a busy couple of weeks but no more than anyone else- just need to make this a habit to get into. Not that I'm posting anything exciting now but will be back tomorrow with my new financial plan of action. Very very necessary as DH and I have had a review of debt and oh dear, it isn't great. Anyway we have a few plans and tomorrow I will post them to make sure that I try to keep to said plans.

    Night night xxx
