She needs to ring Blackhorse and see if finance is still outstanding. You mention she had finace on it. Did she actually pay it all off?
You state she paid £15,000 in total but what was the actual contracted total payment in the agreement?
Without that info it's like saying i paid £8.99 for a £10 item. If it's owed it will have to be paidIf Adam and Eve were created first
.Does that mean we are all inbred0 -
Qhen the bloke did the check on your Uncles, sisters, great aunties, next door neighbours, 2nd cousins car - who was the out standing finance with?0

just to confirm her finance was with black horse, which she has paid off fully, she doesnt know who the outstanding finance is with0
-
Did she get a letter saying the finance had been settled? I did with a car i purchased some time back.
If it was settled recently then it may not have been updated yet. Check credit file or speak to them directly.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

Righ - so who was the outstanding finance with? It'll tell you on the HPi report the bloke did. It'll also tell you a ref number too...0 -
she has the letter from her finance company telling her she has paid her finance off fully
unfortunately she hasnt provided me with the details of the company that the outstanding finance is with! she has been rushing about as she is going to oz today
surely if she bought in good faith from a reputable car dealer the ons is now back onto them?0 -
They wont buy it unless you can prove the finance was paid or get the company to update the records.
If they know the finance figure they may offer to buy it at a reduced costs. best to get it sorted your end really.
The original dealer sold the car to your friend on finance, I presume that is what is showing up on the HPI report?
Unless you can find out the correct details & see if the car already had a finance deal attached to it you wont be able
to sell it for decent money.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

yes it was original garage who sold car that is showing up on finance but they giving her the runaround0 -
If the car was bought from a garage with outstanding finance on then its the garages problem and they need to sort it.0

Can you get finance on a car that already has finance owing on it though? My guess is that the finance showing
is the loan taken out by your friend.
