Here's my round-up from about a week ago ....
An idiot abroad - £16.99 with £5 off sticker (£11.99) plus this was on buy one get one half price
Mini Shopaholic (Sophie Kinsella's new one) - £18.99 with £5 off sticker (£13.99) plus this was on buy one get one half price
I then used my £5 off any £10 book voucher.
Total: £14.98 to pay, and they gave me a £10 WH Smith gift card.
THEN I chanced my luck and went back with two more:
Surface Detail (Ian M Banks) £18.99 with £5 off sticker (£13.99), plus the B1G1HP deal
Insurrection (Robyn Young) £17.99 with £5 off sticker (£12.99), plus the B1G1HP deal.
I then used another of my £5 off any £10 book vouchers.
Total: £15.48, and another £10 Wh Smith gift card handed to me.
I then (lol) went to the kids annuals. Those are on Buy 1 get 1 for £1. So £8.99 total. I bought 4, making it £18. Used a £5 off £12 kids books voucher, making those £12.98. Then I used one of the 'free' £10 gift cards and had just under £3 to pay.
Summary:
Bought: Surface Detail, Insurrection, An idiot abroad, Mini Shopaholic, plus 4 2011 annuals (Beano, Weird Science, Playhouse Disney & Jacqueline Wilson).
Paid: £33.44.
So I paid £33.44 (£43.44 in total, including using one £10 giftcard) for 8 books, and still have one £10 gift card left!"...Our greatest fear is not that we are inadequate,
but that we are powerful beyond measure".
