Quick advice needed please!

I purchased this treadmill curcuit board on Thursday as I have the Star Trac TR4500 as in the listing!

The seller said he sent it out today but I have realised that this is the wrong curcuit board as my treadmill has two types, which I never realised!

I emailed him about ten minutes ago apologising and said that if he has sent it, could I post it back to him and get a refund or exchange it for the correct part. I have also offered to give him back any ebay fees that he has lost out on.

I have never had to do this before and was just wondering if there is anything else I should do? I don't want to ruin my feedback!

Thanks in advance!

If he won't accept the item back might be easier to just sell it on rather than the risk of ruining your feedback if you want to protect it. From what you have said he hasn't advertised incorrectly etc so doubt paypal claim would be appropriate.
One day I might be more organised...........

I was going to e-mail him before I purchased the item asking him if it was suitable for my treadmill but it says it is in the listing. I only found out by accident it was incompatible when i just happened to stumble across a website saying that the board would not be compatible as the curcuit board made for my treadmill was changed in late 2001. Just dont want to lose out on 70 quid!
