Cheapest place to book gatwick hilton?

At the moment the cheapest I can find for 1 night 7th Aug 11, 2 adults 1 child, dinner and breakfast is £144 direct with hilton. Tried expedia and holiday extras both dearer, anywhere else I should try?

    Hi Flo

Don't discount the Sofitel - there are some good deals around for that; it's just a short monorail ride to the South terminal (unless your flight is from the North - did you book BA in the end? ;) )

Also in true MSE style I can recommend the Courtyard by Mariott which is only 8 minutes' walk from the South Terminal, and tends to be a lot cheaper than the Hilton. IIRC e had a family room for £58 in August - Hilton wanted £120

Thanks, didn't book BA as Virgin had discounted a date in Aug too, 8th - 22nd £747 per adult or £697 and 2000 miles but I dithered went to book VA this morning and miles and money flights have gone and flights back up to £817. I would rather book VA as we are used to their twilight check in and the down town disnry check in coming back. Could kick myself for not booking yesterday but will wait a few days to see if flights reappear.

Have only stayed at the Hilton in Gatwick, last time we got a special offer on parking in the short stay car park at the south terminal and just a few steps and you were in the hilton. Would liked to have repeated that. I didn't think their price of £144 for the 3 of us with dinner and breakfast was a bad price just hoping to get a little more off.

If we do go with BA then I will look at sofitel by the north terminal.

    Thanks again.
