    If you have cake and custard, then break up the cake into a bowl, top with a tin of fruit and jelly, pour cold custard on top ... quick trifle.

    Otherwise, heat the custard up and eat it as it is, or slice bananas into it (banana custard). As for the cake, chuck it in the freezer until you can find some recipe that could use it.

    Stir it into some natural yoghurt and add whatever else you fancy (nuts, jams, fruit but not all at once!)

  • How about rhubarb and custard muffins? this recipe is gluten free but can be made with regluar flour, or there are plenty of similar recipies out there

    Melt chocolate into it and pour onto a cake ..hot :T

    Orr....bake a little puff pastry if you have any, spread a square with jam and then cold custard and maybe cream and add a lid of sugary PP to finish

  • Mix with yoghurt (preferably greek) and chopped or stewed fruit to make a fool

    Stewed rhubarb or goosberries are delicious
