Anyone know why outlook keeps opening links in word?

As the title suggests. Anyone know why outlook email keeps opening links in word instead if the Internet? It getting a bit of a pain and not sure how to fix it in vista. Thanks Dave

Sounds like the program set for hyperlinks has somehow got changed.
If you just want to fix it, what may do the trick is to go to Control Panel, select Default Programs, then "Set your default programs" and choose your browser and use the option to Set as default. This will set it as the default program for everything it can open.
Alternatively, if you want to investigate further, select "Associate a file type or protocol with a specific program" and at the bottom of the list will be Protocols, which should show which program is set for HTTP and HTTPS. That should be the program you want to use for hyperlinks and there is an option to change it.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the In My Home MoneySaving, Energy and Techie Stuff boards.
