Please help I am trying to find a credit card for either 0% or life of balance that is not underwrittenm by HSBC or MBNA. This seems to be an impossible task at the moment.

You can also use Abbey. Even though it's an MBNA card, you can do a balance transfer into your current account and then use the money to pay off your MBNA card. They do 0% for 9 months with 2% fee.0

Or you can apply for HALIFAX One. It is by Bank of Scotland and you can get 0% for nine months with 3% BT Fee...01. Marriott Rewards VISA (£2700 @ 17.9%)
