carers allowence short this wk!

i am hoping that i am not alone here but my carers allowence is due on monday but i think my bank processes it early as i have always had it today (sat). today i have went to the bank expecting my normal £53 which i have had for over a year and nothing has changes so i dont understand why i have recieved £30+! has anyone else had this problem as i am hoping its a computer error or something as i really needed that money but can't do anything till monday about it as the office is closed and u never know i might get an extra payment on monday which i doubt but you never know as the benifits agency seem to keep changing the rules!
i hope i am not alone as a computer error seems a better option that for some strange reason they have stopped it ???? confused here

It might have something to do with the date they pay you changing. As i had a letter about my incapacity dates changing. I usually get paid offficially on a Monday, however the money actually reaches my account the previous Friday. However now they have moved my paydate to the Tuesday (so it'll really be 4 days later), and they are making a one off payment at some point to cover the extra bit missed out in the cross-over. So perhaps this is what is happening with your carers allowance?

If you are still concerned maybe give the DWP a quick ring though? Hope you find out and everything is fine >

Mine is due on Monday, although I don't usually pick it up until Wednesday, so I'll check then. I collect mine from the Post Office, so I can't check online.
