Phillips low energy light bulbs £1.99

In the specials offers pamphlet in my local Argos (Southend-on-Sea) they had various types of Phillips low energy bulbs - bayonet and screw-in - for only £1.99. They had the equivalent of 60W and 40W normal bulbs (12W and 8W?).

They were on racks near the tills. Not sure what the normally retail at but I say the same ones in Homebase today for £3.99 each.

Sorry to intrude fella, Morrisons are selling these at 99p for 11W and 18W screw and bayonet.

You're not intruding! I posted this 'cos I saw it was a good deal compared to other places I'd seen them.

If somewhere else is doing them cheaper then that's even better - had someone already posted the Morrisons deal then?

the only free ones I have seen you have to be on some benefits to get them. see here

There's a thread in Grabbit saying they are 49p in Netto?
What i meant with the free bulbs is now and again on the freebies forum they have links,not for people on benefits only,giving away these bulbs for free.I should know as i've got a few in the drawer in the kitchen;)

I was just in Morrison's and maybe the offer has ended today but they weren't BOGOF in that store they were 99p for one:)

Hi, yes the Morrison's Phillips were BOGOF but the deal has recently ended and they are now 99p each.However their BOGOF's normally come round again so keep watching.
