I'm a first time buyer, and have just received my fixures and fixings list and i'm over the moon! The seller has just got married and has relocated down south so I never actually met her, and nothing was discussed about what she was leaving me.
Anyway, AT NO EXTRA COST, she is leaving me:
Washing machine,
Tumble dryer,
Cooker & hob,
Fridge Freezer
Microwave,
Kettle,
Toaster,
3 piece suite
Light fittings, lamps, and all the curtains & carpets.
I can't believe it, with me being on a low income this has really put a smile on my face. I'll definately be sending her some flowers when completion has taken place.
On top of that, the management charges are £140 per year, which include buildings insurance too. I was expecting to pay about £600.
Sorry for this post lol, but i'm so happy at the moment :T

We moved in as FTBs in April this year. Although it was an elderly lady's house, her son thought kindly on us and before clearing the house, asked us if we wanted anything. It is our first home together and we had absolutely nothing, having never lived away from home before.
We were left a 3 piece suite, nest of tables, table and 6 chairs, kettle, Hoover, lots of garden tools, lamps and lampshades. Although they were a little old-fashioned, we were over the moon, and so grateful. He also left a bottle of champagne for us, with a note saying 'it was always a happy home for us, i hope it is for you too' - this made me cry!
I guess we were lucky, some people are very kind, others not so much.0

Thanks everyone. I wasn't actually meant to view this flat originally (I was viewing another flat in the complex) but the estate bought the keys along so I looked at it at the same time. It's a few thousand over my price range (i'm borrowing from 'The Bank of Mum & Dad') so you can see why i'm so pleased to have these included.
I know i'm lucky, and I hope any of you lot don't think i'm bragging.... This space is available to rent... This space is available to rent... 0 0

When we brought our flat our vendor left lots of things as well, airs, curtains, bins, washing machine, fridge, freezer, oven etc and when we move out we are leaving the same items (taking our new washing machine but thats it) we've been very fortunate in that we recently got married and have some money to spend on new items so if the ones we leave can help out our buyer then we're happy to leave them.House purchase completed 6th December whole process took 4 months.
Hang in there everyone it is worth it0
