Does anyone know the criteria to claim these?

Both can be quite complex as they take into account many factors. You would need to provide basic info on income/benefits, dependents, age, household size, size of property and maximum LHA for the size of property you are entitled to. Without this, no one can provide you with much guidance.
To find out the maximum LHA your household could receive, go to the LHA direct website which will indicate the size/type of property for your household and the rates for your postcode. Note that this is the maximum - household income will also influence this.
Then model your income on the Turn2us online benefit calculator.
After that, let us know if you have any queries.0
