Another Evans code use quickly!!!

They did exactly the same thing this time last year and cancelled all orders. Imagine how much data they collected though!!!!

Can understand why they are cancelling with the second code as no one bought the required spend but it is still letting you use it and still giving you £9 off instead of the £5 it states against a £40 spend. Why haven't they fixed it.? The first code does'nt say against a minimum spend so can't see where they have a leg to stand on as far as this goes. Has everyone had orders with the first code cancelled as well?

Yeah, right!!!

I got this same email. When I checked though, they were still selling the item I bought. Surely it would come up as out of stock if it were actually out of stock??

Same here. They did the same last year in October. I think they just do it purposely to collect data on people. There is quite a good market for it lol.

Woohoo :TI've just received a despatch email from Evans for the 1st order I placed using the 01 and free del codes, my other 2 got cancelled for using the 02 code but at least they are sending me something, which is more than I expected to get!!

Another xmas pressie for £0.60.....Bargain !!:eek:

Hope a few others manage to get something

So I have sent one back to say that I find it hard to believe that an item that was in stock at the time of ordering was out of stock a couple of hours later and then between sending me the email cancelling its back in stock. I have asked that they reinstate my order at the original price on my orginal order which was £3 .... :rotfl:

At last an real reply of why the order was cancelled. I have no objection to them cancelling TBH cause it was a "glitch" but why lie about things being out of stock etc...

This is in reply to my asking that my "original" order be reinstated as the item was at no time out of stock as they told me in the cancellation email
