Hi all,
Just wanting a bit of advice. I bought a game from CEX and took it home, wrapped it up for my sisters birthday. As I dont have an xbox 360 of my own couldnt test it till she opened it. The game doesn't work and now I can not for hte life of me find the receipt!
On the same day I bough the game I traded in a memory card so that must be on their system. I also am a member to trade in stuff with the,.
I was wondering if I will be able to get an exchange? I'm not after a refund as my sister really wants this game, just an exchange.
Any help

I would have thought since you want an xchange then surely they could do that for you, are sales recorded like games etc,0

Good luck with that. I've had to take faulty games back a couple of times and the staff always try to make out that it has been "manhandled" or "it was ok in the store " etc, etc. I don't know CEX but they should have a record of your transaction if you did an exchange. Did you pay in cash or did you use a card? Will it be on a bank statement, which can be used as proof of purchase? If you're a member it should be easy to trace the transaction anyway. Don't be fobbed off, if the game is faulty then you are entitled to an exchange at the very least."I may be many things but not being indiscreet isn't one of them"0
