cant get internet connection

i took my hard drive out my pc to test another hard drive,after putting my original hard drive back in i cant get connected to internet,
i done the network diagnostics for xp and i get this message...
this machine doesnt have any installed network adapters.the required network device drivers may not have been installed....
can anyone help please?
im on my wireless laptop to write this thread

look in device manager to see if the adapter is installed and working

start run devmgmt.msc or go via control panel, system, hardware

right click on my computer

left click properties

left click hardware tab then left click dev manager

ok ive got into device manager,clicked hardware tab,but i cant see anything about network adapters

why did you take it out in the first place, and what did you do with it?

i took out hard drive and put my old hard drive in to copy photos i had on it,
no yellow question marks,
my wife has just fixed the problem,not sure how she done it.

burn them to dvd as well if important.
