Lost Mojo At Work

Hi there - hoping for a bit of advice please :)

I feel like I have completely lost my motivation at work. Do you have any tricks or hints and tips on how to find it again?

Thanks

Thanks thats really helpful. Obviously I'm happy to have a job - and I would like to get back to feeling really happy with it rather than average. I appreciate that not everyone is lucky enough to have an income but I dont think that having one should automatically disqualify someone from wanting to improve how they feel in the workplace.

Keep doing the job you have but work out a plan for moving on into something you would love to do. Don,t set a timescale but hold that plan in your head when you are at work and do everything possible in your free time to get what you want.
    Good luck

Enjoy a good rogering over the photocopier with the office stud on a daily basis. It will give you something to look forward to in the mornings and put a bit of excitement into your day.

I wasn't joking or being unhelpful.

    I really mean it.

Visit a job centre and spend an hour there.

Try and live off £64 in one week.

It can really help you get a perspective on your mojo and feel like you might have more to give in the workplace.

I don't see how suggesting giving you some balancing suggestions is automatically disqualifying you from improving how you feel in the workplace.

    Hi,

Hard to say without knowing what you do :) Is it boring? Can you help someone out who is struggling? Are you in a position to chase new business?

Apologies, I misread your post in that case and took your comment in a different context. Thanks for your input.

Hi Its an office admin job and there are lots of different things in there. I guess I've fallen out with it as I like to do a lot of work on improving things but things seem to be just ticking over at the moment. I guess that means things have got pretty stale thinking of it. I'm sure a lot of it is my perception though - if I can work on that for now then I can see if I really do need to try change jobs or not.

    Thanks

Like I said jessiecamb .. set yourself a goal and aim to achieve it . every time work is getting you down remind yourself this is the short term stuff you have to do to get yourself where you want to be..
    Good luck
