Please help!! Credit card balance transfers

I'm really stuggling with my best options reguarding credit cards and transfering to 0% balance transfers!!!
is it ok to apply for 2 credit cards at the same time?
And one has declined me, will this affect my credit rating?

No problem to apply for more than one at a time. Repeated searches have a negative impact on your rating - difficult to say by how much - depends on lender. 1 or 2 within 3 months will probably have no effect. Note it doesn't matter whether you are accepted or rejected, it's just the fact of a search taking place that is logged.

If you're making 2 applications it can be a good thing to do one immediately after another. Once an account is open, it's existence (and the available credit) is then recorded. This might have a negative effect as you now have more credit available, thus reducing the chances of success with the second one.

Since you've been declined, it's probably worth getting your credit report (experian, equifax) and look for any signs of trouble - people you're linked with that you should be, that you're on the electoral roll etc. Don't pay for a "score".

What you should really trying to understand is why you are getting decline....if your ratio debt to income is too high, it is very likely that no one will consider giving you more credit
