Airport Tax Increase - Already booked!

Hi, Does anyone know if I will get charged extra to cover the cost of the Airport Tax increase, even though I booked and paid for my holiday weeks ago?
I'm flying to Goa at the end of November - I guess this wil be in Zone 2.
I know this is the sort of stuff that is usually buried in the small print somwhere.
If anyone is up to speed on this I'd like to know how much (if any) extra I'll be charged.
Thanks.

The question was asked on the radio today. The answer given was that in this case the government have given the airlines lots of notice, so most people will already have paid the correct amount.
You would have to contact the airline for a definitive answer though.

If you only booked a few weeks ago, it would be a pretty safe bet that the new levels of APD were built into the far that you paid.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
Anyone know what time the increases kick in? I know it says from monday - does that mean midnight sunday?0

Why would that matter if you have already bought your ticket, unless you are planning on buying and traveling within the next 24 hours?Fat_Debtor wrote: »Anyone know what time the increases kick in? If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0 -
according to the times paper, they say airlines have known about this tax for a long while so you would have already been charged.0

I booked my holiday in January and we are due to leave mid November. I am expecting a bill in the post.£2.00 Savers Club = £34.00 So Far
+ however may £2 coins I have saved in my Terramundi since 2000.
Terramundi weighs 8lb 5oz0 -
The increases have been known for well over a year and should have been included in all fares for travel from November 1st. There is no excuse at all for any airline or operator to charge more now.0

What, to travel today? (well yesterday actually, I didn't see the post till today)Fat_Debtor wrote: »I was thinking of booking somewhere today, obviously.
If it is to travel after midnight (or is it 11:59pm) on the 31st. of October then you will have to pay it.
But then again you won't see this as you will be out of the country. lolThe common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot.
