Impressed with the Halifax (and Egg) for once.

Since these forums usually tend to be used to moan a bit about unfair charges and getting screwed over by banks, I think it's nice to have a change.
On Wednesday at 7PM I called up the Halifax to report all my cards lost or stolen, one debit card and two credit cards. I only had to make the one report even though the credit and debit divisions are separate.
Better still, I've just got home from work and all 3 replacement cards are there on my doorstep. There really is no way they could have gotten them to me any faster, short of an overnight courier, and I thought I'd be without access to money for the weekend. They didn't even need activating. My Egg card has also arrived.
For once I'm really happy with them. Top notch service.
