My eldest son Ryan turns 16 in a couple of weeks & will now be entitled to his own room (even though he already has one) the extra £50 will really help with the rent.
Do I need to inform the Council so they can change my LHA or will they change it automatically themselves?

The computer system should recognise a change but no harm in contacting the council and making sure!I currently manage a Housing Benefit service and have been working in Housing / council tax benefit (as was) since 2001.
